Safari Cuisine

It's just great having all your meals in the bush, real food cooked real good! At meal times it's nice to socialise, enjoying that living in the bush experience, especially with a few glasses of wine or a couple of beers at dinner time. There is always plenty of food to go around so, if you do require seconds, you go for it!!

When you come back to camp from the morning activity, there is a typical bush camp style English breakfast - eggs, sausages, toast, fritters, fruit, juice with tea & coffee. Cereals and yogurt are also available.

For lunch it varies from pasta, potato bakes, pizza, chicken sosaties, all of which are combined with a salad etc.

Each evening traditional South African dinners are prepared by the camp's chef, giving you a taste of our countries delicious 'barbeque' cuisine - braai, Impala potjie or bobotie, all combined with potatoes, rice or sadza and two veggies. Chef also provides beef stroganoff, roasts, stir-fry’s....

Dinners are always cooked outside under the stars, served in the dinning tent or eaten from your laps whilst sitting around the campfire. Back to basics but so very enjoyable!

All meat & veggies are freshly prepared and there is always loads of fresh fruit to snack on.

We also cater for all special meal requirements for vegetarians and diabetics.
